Learn the basics of limousine rental

renting a limo1

You decided to rent a limousine for your special occasion. Now what? The majority of consumers rely on Google search for information.  But when you type, let’s say “Greensboro limousine rental,” a mind blowing number of companies pop up. Which company should you contact?

I. Find local companies

Stay away from *.com and other middleman. Why? Because they charge premium pricing and as soon as you book a limo with them, they will subcontract it to us. By going to a middleman, not only will you be overpaying up to 30% per hour,  but will be dealing with companies from Florida, California, Minnesota  or New York, who cannot guarantee the vehicle you are getting because, at the time of the booking, they don’t know which company will be providing your limo service.  Yes, it will be Lincoln Town Car Stretch limo for 10 people but how does it look inside and outside?

We work with numerous affiliate organizations all over the country as A Formal Affair (AFA) Limousine Service has one of the most diverse and largest fleets in the Carolina’s.

II. Visit the company’s website

The Website is the company’s online business card! It is a great way to evaluate the company, learn about company’s limousine rental policies and view vehicles that they offer.  Many companies use stock photography, something they downloaded from trusty Google images.  The photos are sharp and clear, but these photos don’t give you an idea of what exactly you will be renting.

When you visit our website, www.afalimo.com, you will find actual specific photos of our actual vehicles. We take interior and exterior photos and videos to give you a virtual tour of each limousine.  So when you are making a reservation, you are reserving the specific vehicle of your choice on our website. what you see is what you will get – no unpleasant surprises.

III. Shop around

Call or email several companies.  Wait for a quote or returned phone call, don’t hurry and book with the first person you talked to.  You will find that, when it comes to limousine rental, there are many points you have to consider.

Our goal is to answer every single phone call, but sometimes it is not possible.  So please leave us a message, or send us an email or submit an online quote request, we will get back to you within 24 hours or less.

IV. Don’t make a decision based on a price

Cheapest isn’t always the best.  In some markets, the price quotes on limousine rental might be similar and in other markets price quotes will be vastly different.  Keep in mind that the price difference of $5 per hour, may result in drastic change in quality of the vehicle and service received.

AFA Limo offers competitive pricing on all vehicles.

V. Find a limo that suits your personality

When it comes to limousine rental, there are many options to choose from.  Lincolns will always remain the traditional limousine, but there many other exotic options that might suit your style and personality.

AFA Limousine Service offers limos that you will not find anywhere else, such as Hummer SUV & SUT limousines, Toyota Sequoia Stretch limo, Avalanche  Z71 Truck limo, Chevrolet Suburban & Chrysler 300 Stretch limousine.  All of our limousines are rotated out of our fleet within a 3 year period, meaning that we are constantly updating and upgrading our limousines.  We strive to offer the best, biggest and widest selection of some very unusual limo’s.

There are many things on which, we have to focus before hiring a limousine car. I do agree with your all points and these are a good point to do research. License of a driver, certification of a company, past result, old customer reviews all these are very important to choose a perfect car for your wedding and birth day ceremony.

First of all I want to say excellent blog! I had a quick question in which I’d like to ask if you don’t mind. I was curious to find out how you center yourself and clear your mind prior to writing. I’ve had a difficult time clearing my mind in getting my thoughts out. I do take pleasure in writing however it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are usually lost simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any ideas or hints? Appreciate it!

    • Hello, Great question! Ideas for blog articles come from everyday business: the questions I hear from customers, comments from chauffeurs, discussions with vendors at the trade shows, etc. I don’t write every day; rather, write several blogs in one day and then schedule them to be posted in the future. I keep a notepad where I write down the possible ideas for blog, so I won’t forget about them when creativity flows. The conviction in writing comes from personal experience, knowledge of the industry and a desire to educate the customer. Hope this helps and good luck!
