Yadkin Valley Wine: Surry County

One county, four wineries… and four very different winery experiences. On this tour through the upper Yadkin Valley’s Surry County, you’ll be able to visit one of the newest North Carolina wineries (Hutton) and one of its largest (Shelton). Next, you’ll visit Round Peak, with its family farm setting, and then you will drive into the heart of charming small town Mount Airy (the real-life Mayberry) to visit theOld North StateWinery,whichwas once a vineyard cooperative. On this trail you’ll also have two on-site dining opportunities, at Shelton’s Harvest Grill and at the 308 Bistro at the Old North StateWinery.
