A. A Formal Affair Limousine was established in 1997.
Q. Do you ever allow smoking in the Limousines?
A. No, smoking is never allowed in the Limousines.
Q. How does A Formal Affair Limousine give the best, lowest prices on the nicest, newest Limousines?
A. Quantity allows us to give the customer the “Best” price. Our prices will not be beat! (Guaranteed) “when using equivilant new equipment”
Q. How soon should I make my reservation?
A. Limousine trips are booked on a first come first serve basis. If you know you need the limousine on a specific date and time, DON’T WAIT! Go ahead and book the date with us to secure your reservation for your special day.
Q. What will my driver be wearing, when the driver arrives in the Limousine?
A. Your driver will look professional and will be wearing a dark suit and tie. The driver will present a neat and well groomed appearance.
Q. When does my rental start?
A. The rental starts when the limousine arrives to pick you up. For example, if you are scheduled for a 4 hour limousine rental from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm. The limousine will be there at 5:00 pm ready to pick you up. The rental ends at the time the driver drops you off at the desired drop off location at 9:00 pm.
Q. What if we need to go over our time?
A. Please call our office to extend the rental as soon as possible. If the car is not booked, you are welcome to extend. The fee for extended hours should be paid to the driver in cash. Our drivers do not accept credit card payments during the trip.
“CANCELLATION POLICY”
Once a trip is booked with a paid deposit, if the trip is cancelled for the specific date, then a credit certificate valid for postponing the trip will be issued and can be used for up to six months (at a mutual date). There is no additional fee to postpone a trip, however once the deposit is made there are NO refunds.
Q. Can you provide alcohol?
A. No, we do not provide alcohol, but you are welcome to bring your own, provided everybody in the party is over 21 years of age. We recommend you choose small ready to use individual bottles of beer and/or wine, rather than larger quantity containers that require pouring and mixing.
Q. Are your vehicles insured?
A. Yes, we are fully licensed and insured.
Q. We booked for 10 people, but few more friends joined us. Can they join us?
A. Each vehicle has a certain capacity that cannot be exceeded due to safety reasons. If your party is larger than expected, please call our office to upgrade to a larger vehicle. Extra fees will apply.
Q. How do I rent a limo?
A. Once you know the date of your special event and the size of your party, please give us a call. We will make your reservation over the phone and email you your confirmation letter within 24 hrs. The confirmation letter is your proof of the reservation with us. You do not need to call or check. But please advise us of any changes in time or party size, prior to your trip.
Q. How do I know which car I get?
A. At the time of the booking you will determine which limo you will book based on your preference, group size and budget. That vehicle will pick you up on the date of your special event.
Q. Which limousine should I choose?
A. It depends on the size of your party. We might recommend certain vehicles based on the size of the party and the availability.
Q. Do we rent a limousine per hour?
A. The limousines are rented by the hour and the fee depends on the size and style of the vehicle. We require a three hour minimum on a limousine rental.
Q. How long do I need a limo for?
A. The length of the rental depends on your needs and your plans. We can work with you and help make your day a special one. Once the limousine picks you up, it is yours for the duration of the rental. The driver will take you anywhere you need to go or do.
Q. Can we bring food?
A. No, food is not allowed in the vehicles. Food leaves stains and smells that can be difficult to eliminate. Our customers are varied in their tastes and likes. We keep our cars clean and smell free at all times. Please advise your driver if you wish to stop for a bite of food at a restaurant or cafe.
Q. Will my driver be fun?
A. Our chauffeurs are professional drivers not professional entertainers. Your driver is assigned to take care of you and to safely transport you from place to place. As customers are varied in their tastes and needs, we advise our drivers to maintain a professional attitude and be courteous and responsive to our customers’ needs.
Q. Can we bring our own music?
A. Most definitely! Please do. All vehicles are equipped with CD players and some with IPod hookups. We recommend you bring your favorite tunes to enhance your experience.
Q. What if we forget something in a limo?
A. Please call us as soon as you realize you left something. All cars are cleaned at the end of the rental and all lost items are placed in lost/found bin. We will arrange to meet you to return the lost items.
Q. Who should I call once the rental begins?
A. At the time of the pickup, the driver will introduce himself and give you a business card with office and his personal phone number. Please keep that card during the rental, and call your driver directly when you are ready to be picked up.
Q. Will the limo wait for us outside?
A. Once the customers are dropped off, the driver will park the limousine as close to the restaurant/night club as possible. For your convenience, please give the driver a 5 minute “heads up” once you are ready to be picked up. Please note that at some locations, the limousine cannot be parked directly outside waiting for customers, so the driver might have to go around the block. Please wait for your driver outside the club.
Q. Can I rent the limo for my kids?
A. Yes, we do a variety of special occasions. We ask for an adult chaperone on any children’s activities.
